Hotel Rooms

Rooms decor consist of Iron Works Villages soul of past and luxury of present. Art in the rooms and hallway are handmade by entrepreneur and hotel owner Krista Gurstafsson and the art refers to life lived in the village.

High quality beds by Unikulma invite you to a mellow sleep, during which thoughts can glide back into 18th century. Gentle water flow from the rain shower carrys you to the quiet surface of near by Matildansalmi bay. After good night sleep it is more than wonderful to wake up into new day and continue the time travel.

Ship Container rooms

Modern world meets the spirit of the olden days. The Ship Containers raised on the roof of the old assembly hall offer a new kind of experience with an opening landscape windows. Lay on the bed or sit on the lounge chair, have a cup of tea and enjoy the village life and harmony.

Every Container has quality queen size bed, small lounge area in front of the landscape window and its own bathroom with a rain shower. In every container there is also a kettle and small tea and coffee selection.

The crown of the morning is a breakfast plate of local ingredients and products, which is served in our Café by the time requested by guests. We have handpicked amazing flavours just for you! Special diets, allergies and wishes are taken into notice.

  • This hotel is built into Ship Containers on the top of old Assembly hall, surrounded by historical Iron Works Factory.

  • In small room is 140 cm wide doublr bed. Rooms decorated in loft-style. Every room has its own bathroom, rain showe and flat TV.
  • Room is suitable for 1 or 2 people, extra bed not possible for this room type.
  • Breakfast included in price of the room, and is served in our Café by customers timetable.
  • Price from 135€/night for single room, 185€/night for double room
Standard room
  • In our standard room is 2 x 90cm wide bed together or separated. Rooms decorated in loft-style. Every room has its own bathroom, rain showe and flat TV.
  • Extra bed possible for a fee in one room. 
  • Breakfast included in price of the room, and is served in our Café by customers timetable.
  • Price from 189€/night
King de Lux room
  • King DeLuxe room is bigger than standard room, with 180 cm wide double bed. Rooms decorated in loft-style. Every room has its own bathroom, rain showe and flat TV.
  • 2 Extra beds possible for a fee in one room. 
  • Breakfast included in price of the room, and is served in our Café by customers timetable.

Hotel reception is located in Café Mathildedal and is open during Café's opening hours or as agreed.

Arrival address is Ruukinrannantie 6, 25660 Mathildedal. With navigator the closest address is Mathildanpuistotie. The Ruukinrannantie parking lot and the Mathilda Harbour parking lot serves as hotel's parking lots.
